Homestay Façade Design
|
Designing facades that reflect the soul of Mizoram by incorporating traditional architectural features in homestay front elevation/ façade designs with a maximum ceiling of Rs.5.00 lakh.

PRIZES (For both categories)
1st Prize: Rs. 70,000 + Certificate
2nd Prize: Rs. 50,000 + Certificate
3rd Prize: Rs. 30,000 + Certificate
Winning designs will be adopted as reference models for Government-supported homestays in Mizoram
Guidelines:
1) Participants may submit their designs under either one or both categories.
2) Each participant may submit only one design per category.
3) Category A :The Homestay Design must include:
(i) Site plan & floor plan.
(ii) 3D visualization.
(iii) Detailed drawings.
(iv) Estimate based on MPWD SOR 2019 excluding furniture & furnishings.
(v) Design should reflect Mizo traditional elements while incorporating modern amenities.
(vi) Provision of eco-friendly features is encouraged.
(vii) Maximum number of pages - 12 pages in pdf format
4) Category B: The Homestay Façade Design must include:
(i) Façade design (front elevation).
(ii) Detailed drawings and estimate on existing market rate.
(iii) 3D Visualization.
(iv) Provision of eco-friendly features is encouraged.
(v) Brief write up in 100 words explaining the concept & inspiration ( Mizo or English)
(vi) Maximum number of pages - 5 pages in pdf fromat.
